Our operation teams, work in a high-performing environment with high business demands. The STMS will actively be responsible in helping the Operations Manager build an elite team and setting high on-site performance expectations, ensuring that jobs are allocated and performed in an efficient manner and to the company expected standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for in-field direction of all Traffic Controllers operating under your supervision.
  • Complete all required TTM paperwork/record keeping and ensure it is maintained and delivered in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Bring any matter affecting H&S to the attention of your Operations Manager immediately.
  • Ensure that TSNZ equipment and vehicles are maintained and presented to the highest standard and used appropriately.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve in-field performance within the TSNZ field crews and systems.
  • Maintain and improve relationships with key stakeholders.

Role Requirements:

  • Industry-relevant traffic management experience and qualifications a must.
  • STMS CAT A, B and C practicing
  • Clean Class 1 License, class 2 (desirable).
  • Reliable transport.
  • Applies critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity to all situations.
  • A serious approach to Health and Safety Management/for yourself, Road users & TTMW
  • An ethical, forward-thinking leader who leads by serving those in their care.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure and always presenting a professional front.
