A TTM worker will assist with temporary traffic management under the direction of the STMS, such as installing, maintaining, and removing traffic management worksites, and operating stop/go paddles, portable traffic booms, or manually controlled portable traffic signals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clear and concise communication on radio transmitters.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve in-field performance within the TSNZ field crews and systems (STMS).
  • Ensure that TSNZ equipment and vehicles are maintained and presented to the highest standard and used appropriately.
  • Any matter affecting H&S is brought to the attention of your Operations Manager immediately.
  • Maintain and improve relationships with key stakeholders in TSNZ’ business, including clients, staff and public.
  • Ensure all TTM vehicles and equipment are maintained, kept safe from theft or damage, and kept compliant, clean and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure all TTM paperwork/record keeping is maintained and delivered in a clear, accurate and timely manner (STMS).
  • Responsible for in-field direction of all Traffic Controller’s operating under your supervision (STMS).

Role Requirements:

  • TTM-Worker ticket (desirable).
  • Holds a TMO-P (if you’re applying for the TMO Position).
  • STMS CAT A, B or C practicing (STMS positions)
  • Clean Class 1 License, class 2 (desirable).
  • Health and Safety focused.
  • Experience as a traffic controller (desirable).
  • Reliable transport.
