The strong camaraderie with the PNCC crews feels like we've become an extended whanau.
In celebrating the completion of the 11-month Church Street Wastewater Renewal Project, our Manawatu Ops Manager, Michael Mcleod acknowledged the Palmie TTM crews’ growth and strong relationship with the PNCC crews saying, "The strong camaraderie with the PNCC crews feels like we've become an extended whanau.”

Summerhill folk – a reminder that yesterday we started drainage work on Summerhill Drive to reduce water build-up under the road.
- The project is expected to take six weeks and will reduce potholes forming in future. Two lanes of traffic will be open for the duration of the project, albeit at reduced speeds. Night works will begin Sunday 13 March and go until Sunday 20 March - during this time there will be no day works.
- Church Street is back open! The street has been blocked off for the past few weeks while our teams completed major upgrades to wastewater mains and connections to nearby properties. The latter stages of the project included shutting down part of the roundabout on Victoria Ave. These are now both back open. Shout out to Traffic Safe New Zealand for helping us with the traffic!
- We are also doing heavy maintenance on Pioneer Highway before the end of summer. This is to address major failed areas along the stretch from Botanical Road to Amberley Avenue. This involves cutting chunks out of the road where potholes are occurring and stabilising the entire surface underneath to ensure they don’t happen again.
